每个区域需要随机选择将领，每个将领对于不同的线索，也可能没有线索。无论选择的将领有没有线索，需要攻击一次以进行下一次选择。组队可以呼叫其他队友帮忙，也可以每个区域免费使用3次NPC孙坚。选择孙坚时，攻击必定成功。让大家很无语的是，即使得到某条线索，下一次选择也可能出现，所以越到后面，线索越难集齐。 目前来看，火烧洛阳对普通玩家没有太大吸引力，主要是每个区域只能得到1个红宝，然后需要花20金购买，依次递增。每天把10次免费用完即可，没有必要花金，慢慢熬时间，得到和氏璧。相信现在很多玩家都有65 65 65的终极红宝，所以普通玩家现在需要做的就是攒垃圾红宝，以便得到和氏璧后顺利升级。
