魏延是个比较特殊的觉醒将，其存在的最大意义可能就在于达成云垂阵开启的条件。随着时间的推移，不论是3车，还是月英、魏延觉醒对坚持的朋友都不算什么，可能还是8888的开启费用才是云垂阵普及最高的门槛。所以从战力提升角度而言，不准备开云垂阵的朋友可以考虑直接跳过魏延，去觉醒后面的貂蝉、马超，甚至直接点联合觉醒了（当下的觉醒路线感觉有点多啊）。

印象中魏延的觉醒是没有前置条件的，由于一开始就计划好要开云垂阵，因此当光荣的月英七围点满之后，就同步开始点魏延。那时有个猜测：大觉醒主要取决于点击的次数，相比而言同样觉醒次数的杜康酒用于提升武将七围，效率将优于觉醒酒。因此，光荣的月英七围全满后，把杜康酒就开始点魏延，觉醒酒则继续点月英，待月英觉醒之后再全力点魏延。
相比而言，魏延属于低端觉醒武将，觉醒条件为：杜康酒、觉醒酒和觉醒石（估计，实际没用）都是点4瓶（颗）觉醒一次，每次吐丝5000。前面说过，魏延存在的最大价值可能就在于云垂阵的开启资格。尽管一度有人尝试在高端比武中使用魏延当月英的副将，不过从实战效果来看表现一般，因此现在的魏延几乎没有出场的机会了。
魏延一共带了2件专属宝物，小专属是月英的子午谷谋（双34），大专属是魏延自己的麒麟角饰（双34）。光荣点了540次获得了小专属，之前拿了5.5w丝绸（吐丝11次），小技能在4433，三围只有防御满了。

大专属在接*七围全满的时候获得，之前累计点击1530次，拿了16w丝绸（吐丝32次），小技能在5455，三围全满。

累计点击2300余次的时候，魏延七围全满；之后又点了1000余次，在3307次时魏延终于觉醒。

光荣实际点的时候，因为过年的原因，中间有一段时间断断续续点，因此时间拖得有点长，前后花了2.5个月的样子，一共花费2780金，累计点击3307次，吐丝31.5w，2个专属全拿，七围全满，是标准的硬醒。光荣在点魏延时保持了与之前基本相当的觉醒消费强度，日常长坂突围视情况做227或373酒，花费一般在100-200金之间，而过关斩将一般做到300酒左右，花费也在100-200金之间。碰到线下觉醒活动时，适当提高消费强度，一般做到4档buff（长坂突围373酒+过关斩将635酒=1008酒，刚好达成buff4），这样可以额外获得150杜康酒+198佳人淳酿。最后光荣一共喝了421瓶佳人淳酿 + 5720瓶杜康 + 5824瓶觉醒酒，累积点击3307次。
